Patrón tequila and Ultimat vodka cocktails will be featured at the 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016. The specially created cocktails also will be part of the Post-Awards Gala, which is co-hosted by PEOPLE and the Entertainment Industry Foundation.
Patrón has created two signature cocktails with ultra-premium Patrón tequila, and one drink featuring Ultimat vodka, for the star-studded SAG Awards events. The “Patrón 22” in honor of the Awards’ 22nd year, is prepared with 100 percent agave Patrón Silver tequila, fresh pineapple and fresh lime juice. The other Patrón cocktail, aptly called “The Actor,” includes Patrón Reposado tequila (aged more than two months in oak barrels), Patrón Citrónge liqueur, and fresh lemon juice. The “Ultimat Award” cocktail is created with Ultimat vodka, Patrón Citrónge liqueur, cranberry juice, lime and simple syrup.
“It’s truly limitless the number of inventive cocktails that can be created with Patrón tequilas, and events like the Screen Actors Guild Awards are the perfect venue to showcase this versatility,” said Patrón’s mixology manager David Alan, who helped create the cocktails for the evening. “It’s a privilege to again be part of this prestigious celebration, and we look forward to raising a glass of Patrón in a toast to the outstanding performances and talented actors honored at the Awards this year.”
